I have got to get better at this blog thing! I'm just so busy now!
I can't believe I haven't mentioned that Linds got engaged to Lewis a few weeks ago! Lindsay Leavitt, has a nice ring to it, no pun intended...
We are all in "wedding mode" now and the boys are practicing their aisle walk!
We spent Thanksgiving here in Midland at Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle Jeff's house (aka Jackson's house)! Most of Tom's cousins were in town with their kiddos.

Marshall was all into the appetizers

Marshall ate a light lunch
The next day we all went to Issy's house for a fun evening and the boys all had the best time.
Here are a few good pics from the photography session at the ranch on November 10th...just a handful because some will not download for some reason...both boys were a little tooty that afternoon!
Marshall had his 1 year well-check on November 23...26.3 pounds (90th), 32 inches (90th). Healthy boy:) He actually lost a pound since he gave up the bottle and started walking. He is walking so good now, with the cutest little toddle!
We also went to a fun fireman birthday party for one of Jake's friends. Such a fun party! Jake got his face painted with a dragon ( I asked the clown to spare his entire face).
Marshall thought he was such a big boy, too. He is not allowed to get his face painted until the day he can ask for it!
We made our first batch of Christmas cookies together, too. In my mind, I pictured dancing around to Christmas music with an apron on and the boys decorating perfect little cookies and singing along with me while hugging and kissing me. Well, not so much. Jake asked me to turn the music off, he ate most cookies before they were decorated and I had to cage Marshall in his highchair because he was getting into everything! Maybe next year. But I did have to stop and smile. What a difference a year makes;)
Precious moment while decorating the tree
Funny thing Jake said yesterday...I was making rice on the stove and he tried to touch it and I said "Don't touch that or you'll burn your finger and we'll have to go to the doctor" (he has the ultimate fear of doctors since he's been so much with ear infections). He said "What, and get a new one?" I had to laugh. I think I've taken him shopping a bit too much lately!
Hopefully now I'm caught up! And onto the Christmas season!!!
